We threw a hell-of-a Halloween party with Lords of the rave gang Motorik and secret headliner Flight Facilities. This sold out spooky soirée presented by Pulse Radio was hosted at Jam Gallery in Bondi Junction, formerly the Eastern Suburbs’ underdog for nightlife & entertainment that quickly turned into a party mecca of the East post this event.

If you missed this event, we are sure it will haunt you forever with a stellar DJ lineup including Linda Marigliano, Motorik Council Crew and of course headliners Flight Facilities. Click here for the full album. Photo cred: Pat Stevenson HOBOGESTAPO & Sam Whiteside for Voena.

Where is Jam Gallery, you ask? Now known as ‘The Junction’ and located underground in a place you have most likely walked by often; Jam Gallery was a creative hub and a music lover’s sanctuary that I had the pleasure of rebranding back in 2014. Originally a latin club, myself and the team at Jam Gallery & Spring Street Social transformed this tired and forgotten venue into an underground oasis. A secret gem located outside Sydney’s lockout zone, open until 3am, a short stroll from all the bus points, train station, taxi rank and equipped with all of your weeknight and weekend treating needs. For the beer enthusiast; 30+ craft beers for you to choose from, for the cocktail lovers; we sourced Sydney’s best mixologist to deliver you with everything you ever dreamed of, for the foodies; a casual food menu with all your favourites, for the creative; a weekly art exhibition combined with performances by only the best live bands and for the ravers a Krix/Everingham custom built sound system kitted with a 3-D sound sensitive laser.

Head toward the back and you will find another hidden treasure through the corridor called Spring Street Social. Good Food Australia said, “It looks like an opium den and an old-school apothecary. Outrageously cosy nooks, a very sexy space and stellar atmosphere”. It has that New York City Speakeasy Bar feel with a vibe of cosmic proportions! 5 nights a week you will see live acts from Blues, Jazz, Funk, Soul, RnB and once a month Spring Street Social holds host to an Electro Swing where you will see the room packed out and decked out like the Great Gatsby. “A creative space, a hub for musicians, a local hang out, a place for everyone — whether you’re 18 or 75.” – Words by Owner Chris Duff. They definitely don’t make them like this anymore!
